Self-Sanctifying Imbeciles attack Free Speech (again)

According to BBC, GoFundMe says it will withhold millions of dollars raised for Canadian truckers protesting against vaccine mandates, citing police reports of violence.

And what were those "reports of violence"?

"Of the thousands who joined the truckers' protest, three people have so far been arrested: one for carrying a weapon, one charged with mischief under $5,000, and another with uttering threats on social media"

What kind of "weapon"? A hunter's knife? A sling shot? What kind of "threats" on social media and to whom?

Police earlier said they were aware of “inappropriate and threatening language on social media” related to the protests.

Of course we are not given specifics other than someone on social media made an inappropriate and threatening remark “related” to the protests. Was this someone a trucker or a participant in the protests? Or was it just someone bloviating on line?

And what is an “inappropriate and threatening” remark? A threat is by nature “inappropriate” but out of place remarks are not necessarily threats. Blubba-blubbba-blubba.

Never mind, it is sufficient to know that the police say that "of the thousands" who joined the protests three committed a CRIME (quoth)

3/1000 = .3% 3/2000 = 0.15%. The Washington Post reported 8,000 people present in Ottawa four days ago. 3/8,000 = 0.037%

Of course, as usual nowadays, the police and politicians hurl verbal flash-bangs

There are "fears of harassment and even violence. " So.... the State gets to suppress peaceful assembly because without specification or attribution ther are "fears" of violence?

Again, according to the BBC, "Monica Chohan, an Indian-Canadian lawyer living in central Ottawa, said: "There were men walking in groups in front of our house with 'Make Canada Great Again' hats. I just started to feel like I don't want to go and put myself out there. "

Oh wonderful....someone "just feels" that she doesn't like your hat, and your get thrown in jail for illegally wearing a hat or, as that self-sanctifying imbecile who parades as Prime Minister of Canada put it, spreads "symbols of hatred and division”

Well.. .last I looked, the protesters WERE Canadians. Ah... but they were not the kind of Canadians Trudy approves of. What next? Take away their citizenship?

Mass protests will always cause inconveniences, like traffic jams, loss of access, noise and the like. Sorry snow flakes, but that's the price we all have to pay for having free speech.

I have no problem with arresting anyone who loots, who vandalizes or who actually intentionally threatens or assaults someone. If it is against the law to carry a weapon, that too.

But suppressing free speech because it "disturbs the tranquility of the people" is what they do in places like China. Nice, Trudy, really nice.

Again, per BBC, the watchdog Canadian Anti-Hate Network (another one of those self-perpetuating NGO's specializing in peddling fear and indignation) has documented links between many of the convoy’s organizers and far-right groups.

What kind of links? And how exactly is this Orwellian watchdog "documenting" this?

And since when is it illegal to be "far right"?

I am far left. As far as I am concerned self-sanctifying imbeciles like Heiko-the-Idiot, Saint Jacinda the Mournful and Puppet Boy Trudy are just running dog lackeys of transnational corporate capitalism, masquerading under tufts of fluffy white WOKE WOOL.

I'll tell y'all something else. I am vaxed and boosted. I started self-isolating and /or wearing N95 masks two days after the first Covid case hit the West Coast of the United States. Why? Because I have a brain and put two and two together, and did not for one second believe the Official Bullshit about bats.

Bats have been regular attendees at Chinese open air markets for over a thousand years. The Chinese government doesn't put an entire city under instant lockdown because of some unknown bat virus. They did it because they were trying to stop a leak.

So I had two doctors (loaded with official information of the sort Saint Jacinda and Trudy the Puppet would have us fill our brains with) tell me I was "over-reacting." Three weeks later THEY were wearing hazmat suits. Idiots.

Why didn't these inspid corrupt wealking politicans, who saith Tudy "will not be intimidated," immediately impose a lockdown? Because they were worried about cutting into the profits of the business class that owns them. Oh we can't hurt the economy. Sorry bubs, sometimes you have to.

So they didn't impose an immediate containment lockdown and the virus spread. A year later their chestnusts were pulled out of the fire and they had two or more vaccines. What did they do? Nothing, except fork over money to Pharma Inc.

Make no mistake, government has the power to force everyone to get vaccinated. If they can draft your ass to go get shot at, they can shoot you up with a vaccine.

And make no mistake again, shooting you up with a vaccine isn't just for your own precious individual good. It's for the good of the whole country, because when a virus is starved of hosts it dies off, as happened with measels and small pox.

But why didn't the government mandate vaccines, until it was once again far too late? Because they are spineless, gutless cowards, that would rather dribble out woke pieties than actually take a stand.... at least until it is half passed midnight.

I say all this because I absolutely do not support the anti-vax stance of the truckers. But I absolutely do support their right to protest and to make their views known and to demand, according to their lights, the redress they seek.

I will not condone the virus of Orwellian thought control and suppression of opposition, which is what self-sanctifying imbeciles in power (SSIP) are about.
